I've never made homemade tapioca before (the boxed kind doesn't count!) but this blog was raving about it, which set off a craving. Turns out you can find tapioca pearls at the grocery store, so I picked some up for $3. Photo and inspiration from here.
I'll probably get to this in the next day or so, (more separated egg whites, which always scares me for some reason) but I'm pretty motivated by creamy warm vanilla-scented pudding, so this should happen in the near future.
Now I also want bubble tea. Conundrum.
