Saw this tutorial for cute little stuffed felt owl ornaments, and got really inspired to make a mini flock of my own for my christmas tree. Spoiler alert: they have sequined bellies. It was really satisfying to sit and hand sew, and now I'm planning to keep crafting seriously quirky felty things for my very pink tree. I want to do little leaves and mushrooms and snails and gnomes and just have an extremely whimsical, non-traditional, twenty-something tree this year. We'll see how far it goes, but one or two of them at a time is totally manageable.
