Maxi Dresses

The maxi dress is my favorite clothing scam. Not only do you throw it on and simply add shoes, but you don't have to shave your legs to get away with it. And here's the best part, it's like wearing pajamas while looking like you care about a public image. Comfy, lazy and put together- every girl's clothing dream.

(Aside: I own two. One has an empire waist, which the first graders apparently thought made me look pregnant. Thanks guys, and also a lesson about what not to wear to elementary school. Later, another teacher overheard and pulled them aside to teach them the valuable life lesson about not telling people who aren't pregnant that they look pregnant. They apologized, but that dress is still not going back there. So maybe the lesson here is that I shouldn't wear empire waist dresses. I'm sticking by the maxi thing, though.)
