I've seen oodles of this kind of simple "sack" dress for kids, but never thought to tackle one for an adult. Why not...? Maybe now I will, as I have a brand new stockpile of fab vintage pillowcases thrifted by a loving friend for .99 cents each (originally slated for aprons, but maybe not anymore). Seen here via here.
