These charming things are bangle bracelets. Made out of sliced teacups. The artist also makes heart pendants out of the handles. I know.
I was like, I wonder if I could do that? And it turns out, I'm super scared of the idea of cutting glass. Not that I want to spend $65 for one of these, and ship it from New Zealand. We'll see if one or the other option wins out. Scary cuts vs. expensive and far away, in a fight to the death.
In any case, I thought this was the most amazing crafty thing I'd seen in awhile.

ReplyDeleteNo kidding, that is amazing! I would be afraid to cut those things too... but I guess if you started with cheapy things and were safe... what could be the worst thing?
