Sites like this make my hippie sensibilities go completely crazy. I have such a hard time tempering eco friendly against EVERYTHING IS GIVING YOU CANCER AND LEAKING INTO THE WATER also, COMPOST. However, there is tons of useful info and great tips for those of you that don't have serious paranoia keeping you up at night and can handle facts about what is and isn't tested by the FDA.
That being said, it strengthens my resolve to use more enviornmentally friendly products and practices, but that could be the terror speaking. The thing is, we've found comperable or even totally superior eco friendly products, so that in many cases our lazy hippie selves can just pick up biodegradeable laundry detergent at the grocery store instead of the traditional kind so the transition has* been pretty easy.
*in many cases. There have been a few times where this hasn't been the case, the bio-shampoo incidents among them, but that's chat for another day.
