A Sign

Meet the first piece of my official tiny floral shop. I got called in to work my really really part time mall job and when I arrived this was sitting there discarded with a sign on it, "do you want me?" and I took it as a sign from the universe to start a small business. It also happened to barely fit into the backseat of my car, so there's another sign that it was meant to be mine, and also that I'm doing the right thing here. Eek.

It's nearly as tall as I am, and chipped. Not shabby chic chipped, just shabby. I want all of the store fixtures to be white, but I'm considering painting this one glossy black to stand out. I can't decide. I'm also not 100% sure of it's place in the shop yet, I thought about storing all my bolts of ribbon in it since that will quickly become problematic, but then I also thought that I could rent it out as an awesome cupcake tree. There's a little post at the very top that you can fit a sign in and I imagine this kitted out with rows up cupcakes bearing adorable cupcake flags and a sign on top that says "Eat Me." And thus the beginning of my tiny floral empire.
